#breakfastclub headed to Austin to host two events with The Macallan whisky during the South by Southwest festival. For the first event we partnered with Vice Munchies as 35 local and out of town chefs, influencers and creatives gathered on the patio of Odd Duck. Custom napkins by Samantha Verrone, old-school lunch trays, and 1970’s recipe cards set each place as hands grabbed for pastries lining the center of the table. James Beard Award-Winning chef Bryce Gilmore and his team prepared a feast of dishes straight from the breakfast gods. Items like Masa pancakes with pig face, strawberry, chèvre and a Chorizo verde corn dog with fried egg foam and coffee syrup, made jaws drop as they hit the table. The menu could not be more fitting as there were special sunchoke cocktails made with The Macallan and coffee service by Cuvée Coffee.
